Is phone use completely safe for our kids???

Mobile phone use has increased like never before. From adults to kids everyone is addicted to phones. We can do anything from calling to internet surfing and more. But are these tiny things totally harmless for our kids??? Excessive mobile phone use in children causes behavioral problems, lack of concentration, learning problems, lack of social skills, obesity, inappropriate behaviour etc. The World health organization has classified phone radiation as possibly carcinogenic to humans. Also these radiation is absorbed more than 60% in babies brain than adults. As children are great imitators, we as parents have a huge responsibility in taking care of the mobile epidemic.... What we can do?? Phones should not be given routinely to kids below 16 years. The American Academy of Pediatrics discourages media use, except for video chatting, by children younger than 18 to 24 months. If you introduce digital media to children ages 18 to 24 months, make sure it's high quality and avoid solo media use. For children ages 2 to 5, limit screen time to one hour a day of high-quality programming. As your child grows, you'll need to decide how much media to let your child use each day and what's appropriate.
